EX Power Keepers

EDIT #1:EXCUSE: School. RESULT: I’m not making promises anymore this year about when stuff will be up. :p However, I promise there will be an update tonight, including new D/P set translations, possibly some scans, possibly the episodes, and possibly EX LM redone. :D

Long day… I will add the episodes tomorrow for sure, since I actually get to come home from school before 8 for once! Sorry about that – you can’t rely on my punctuality this year. :( Halloween is tomorrow! Yay!

EX Delta Species Scans Redone – You can consider the old, pre-release scans VHS, and the new, high-quality scans DVD (or Blu-ray or whatever the heck they call them now). We have “digitally remastered them for superior picture and sound (?) quality.” This is thanks to Shakespeare, who scanned the cards for me and edited them. Before, he would scan them and I would edit them, but since the times have called me away from editing scans and more to school, he was kind enough to take lessons from me on how to edit cards, and now he is editing them a mile a minute (much faster than I ever did). So, you can view the new [EX Delta Species scans]. We will have EX Legend Maker up tomorrow, and other sets in the following weeks. Thanks Shakespeare for all of your hard work (and no, he is not a poet)!

Next Set: EX Power Keepers – We know nothing about this set, except for a news story released on Icv2.com today (we can also assume it’s not the D/P set). You can view the set’s logo on the right (click for a larger picture). And and and, this leaves us, most likely, ONE MORE chance for Abra, Kadabra, and the Eeveelution Pokemon-stars to be in an EX set in English (or in any EX set period, in Abra and Kadabra’s case)! Everyone should cross their fingers and hope that we see these Pokemon before the D/P sets come out here. Aside from that, what will this set be composed of? Will it be a brand new set? Is it a PUI-created set (like Legendary Collection or Base Set 2)? No one knows anything at this point, other than the set logo and the news story below. However, I do have one theory. We had a Ralts and Kirlia reprinted in our EX Dragon Frontiers, which were originally in EX Sandstorm. Why reprint such old cards? Could these two cards foreshadow the return of many old cards? If you look at the title, EX Power “Keepers,” it could be alluding that we are “keeping” old cards from old sets as we move into the next format – cards that were powerful or important in the past and that are needed in the future. Not only that, but according to the news story below, the set will have over 100 cards. Where on Earth is PUI going to get 100 cards from, when we have basically printed most of what we should in America? This is why I believe the set will be comprised of reprinted cards, although it could still have some new cards in it. I could be totally and 100% off, but it’s just a theory, and nothing else, so don’t take it as fact or anything of the like.

On Valentine’s Day Pokemon USA will release Pokemon EX Power Keepers, a 100+ card expansion for the Pokemon TCG that challenges players to take on some of the mightiest Trainers ever. Players get a chance to harness the forces that every Trainer longs to control and to visit special Stadiums where the Elite Four create new opportunities.

New combinations of Stadium cards and Pokemon (including such classic favorites as Charizard, Blaziken, and Pikachu) make this expansion (which is compatible with previous releases) especially exciting for players.

Pokemon TCG: EX Power Keepers Boosters have a suggested retail price of $3.49, while EX Power Keepers Theme Decks will go for $10.99. Thirty-six pack Booster Displays have an MSRP of $125.64, and 8-count Theme Deck Displays retail for $87.92.

EX Dragon Frontiers Apprentice Patch – Venusaur has finished the EX Dragon Frontiers patch. You can download it on our Apprentice page. If you do not know what Apprentice is, it is a program that allows you to play the Pokemon Trading Card Game on the internet, and it’s a great way to build and test decks without having to buy the cards yet! If you have never tried it before, you should now, since Cities are approaching fast!

New Battle Revolution Videos – Do my ears deceive me, or has the battle announcer returned? The official Japanese Pokemon website has been updated with three new videos of Pokemon Battle Revolution, featuring the final evolutions of the three starters. You can check out the videos by clicking here. The first three play buttons are the new videos.

Pokemon Ranger Released TodayPokemonCenter.com has some great deals on Pokemon Ranger, which is officially being released today. You can check out their deals by clicking here. If you order from their website, you will receive two exclusive pins that you cannot get anywhere else.
