First Card Images of ‘EX Battle Boost’

Update (Friday) – Added Tornadus-EX below, which will be the promo card you get for buying a box of the set. Like the others it is a reprint.

As we reported last month, Japan’s July set will be named EX Battle Boost. It will be compromised of reprinted cards from the Black and White era, and as you can see below, most of the reprinted cards will feature new artwork.

While the set’s initial information wasn’t clear as to how many of the cards would be reprints, a press release now states “some new cards are to be included as well.” Thus, most of the set will be reprints, but some will be new.

The Tepig and Pignite card artwork is super clever. I don’t think we’ve ever gotten artwork like that before.
