‘EX Battle Boost’ EX Cards, Theme Deck Cards, and Genesect Blister Promos
It has been revealed that EX Battle Boost will feature reprints of Mewtwo-EX from Next Destinies, Darkrai-EX from Dark Explorers, Keldeo-EX, White Kyurem-EX, and Black Kyurem-EX from Boundaries Crossed, and Lugia-EX and Victini-EX from Plasma Storm. That’s quite a few EXs! As posted before, the set will be released July 13th and is mainly, but not exclusively, comprised of reprinted cards.
The Mewtwo and Genesect cards from the “Mewtwo vs. Genesect” deck that will be released alongside EX Battle Boost have also been revealed. The pack comes with two 30-card decks, damage counters, and a Red Genesect coin for 1260 yen. When purchasing the decks, you’ll be able to receive a Victini or Shaymin promo card (we’re not sure if only one or both). Thanks goes to Puddizzle for the translations!

Three blister packs are also coming out on July 13th. The previously announced blister pack that will be released alongside EX Battle Boost will feature four of the set’s booster packs and a new Genesect promo. The same promo but with alternate artwork will be released in yet another blister pack called the “Movie Commemoration Genesect Set,” which features two Megalo Cannon packs and two EX Battle Boost packs. This blister will only be sold at theaters that screen Extremespeed Genesect: Mewtwo’s Awakening. The final blister pack will come with one EX Battle Boost pack, one Megalo Cannon pack, a postcard, and 32 Genesect card sleeves. It will only be sold at Pokemon Centers and Seven-I Holdings stores. All three blisters will cost 630 yen.
