My laptop will thankfully be coming back from repairs on Tuesday and then that night I’m off to Japan!
Pokemon has revealed that Hitotsuki’s English name is Honedge.
Some details about the Steel/Ghost-type Pokemon have also been revealed: “Honedge comes into being when a departed spirit inhabits a sword that once belonged to humans. It can use the blue cloth attached to its hilt as nimbly as an arm. If you were to carelessly take this blade in hand, you may find that blue cloth wrapping around you…draining the energy from your body!”
Honedge can learn Swords Dance, is 2’07”, and weighs 4.4 lbs.
The video message that Junichi Masuda recorded for France’s Japan Expo has also been translated into English. In it he reveals some details about his location scouting in France for X and Y. Some of the photos shown may be what inspire a few in-game locations.
