Xerneas-EX, Yveltal-EX, Venusaur-EX, and Blastoise-EX from XY Collections Revealed!
Our coverage of Pokemon X and Y will begin when we see that the game has been released to a good chunk of people. We received our copy yesterday but don’t want to spoil those who have not been following the leaks (I’ve managed to avoid almost all leaks myself!)
CoroCoro magazine has revealed four Pokemon-EX cards from X Collection and Y Collection: Xerneas-EX, Yveltal-EX, Venusaur-EX, and Blastoise-EX. As with EX Battle Boost, even though Venusaur and Blastoise are evolved Pokemon, they are still printed as Basic Pokemon. This is probably to make it easier to Mega Evolve them, which the magazine hints at with the arrows and question marks next to the two. Translations are below.
We have decided to use “Y” to indicate the Fairy-type Energy symbol. Since Fairy-type was introduced in X and Y. :p
Xerneas-EX – Fairy – HP170
Basic Pokemon-EX[Y][C][C] Breakthrough: 60 damage. Does 30 damage to one of your opponent’s Benched Pokemon.
[Y][Y][C][C] Blast X: 140 damage. During your next turn, this Pokemon can’t use Blast X.When Pokemon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Yveltal-EX – Darkness – HP170
Basic Pokemon-EX[D][C] Evil Ball: 20+ damage. Does 20 more damage for each Energy attached to this Pokemon and the Defending Pokemon.
[D][C][C] Cyclone Y: 90 damage. Choose an Energy card attached to this Pokemon and attach it to one of your Benched Pokemon.When Pokemon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Venusaur-EX – Grass – HP180
Basic Pokemon-EX[G][C][C] Poison Powder: 60 damage. The Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned.
[G][G][C][C] Jungle Hammer: 90 damage. Heal 30 damage from this Pokemon.When Pokemon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Blastoise-EX – Water – HP180
Basic Pokemon-EX[C][C] Rapid Spin: 30 damage. Switch this Pokemon with one of your Benched Pokemon. Then, your opponent switches the Defending Pokemon with 1 of his or her Benched Pokemon.
[W][W][W] Splash Bomb: 120 damage. Flip a coin. If tails, this Pokemon does 30 damage to itself.When Pokemon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.
