‘Primal Clash’ America’s February XY5 Set

Primal Clash will be the name of America’s fifth XY set and will hit store shelves in February. The set will obviously be our version of Japan’s Tidal Storm / Gaia Volcano set and will feature the premiere of Primal Kyogre-EX and Primal Groudon-EX. Primal Clash will also see the release of two Elite Trainer Boxes this time around, featuring either Primal Kyogre or Primal Groudon. Along with Boundaries Crossed (Freeze Bolt / Cold Flare), which was based on Black 2 and White 2, this is the second time a set based on a video game has not been named after it (e.g. EX FireRed & LeafGreen, XY, etc).

Update (11:00 AM) – New info just came in! The set will feature over 150 cards, including 12 Pokemon-EX and 4 Mega Evolution Pokemon-EX.
