Delta Episode, Zinnia, and Hoenn’s Lore Revealed in New Trailer / Details

Pokemon has released a trailer featuring the contents of last night’s CoroCoro, revealing that the mysterious girl is named Zinnia as well as details about the Delta Episode, Legendary Pokemon, the Eon Ticket, and a new Pokemon Global Link Attraction!

Delta Episode Rayquaza vs. Deoxys

The Delta Episode, keeping the same name in English, “involves the history of the Hoenn region, reaching 3,000 years into the past, and makes the mysteries of Mega Evolution clear at long last. The episode thrusts Trainers into a quest to save the world – the Mossdeep Space Center, a research facility for studying space and rocket science, discovers that a giant asteroid is hurtling toward the planet. Trainers must stop Team Magma and Team Aqua from attacking the facility. Meanwhile, a battle in space is brewing between the Sky High Pokemon Rayquaza and the DNA Pokemon Deoxys. Rayquaza faces a fateful challenge that will determine the future of Hoenn. Helping Trainers restore peace to the Hoenn region are Sootopolis City’s Gym Leader, Wallace, and the Hoenn region’s Champion, Steven, both of whom hold secrets to stopping the asteroid.”

ZinniaZinnia Delta Episode

“Trainers will also meet Zinnia, a mysterious girl rumored to possess the key to the fate of the world. She bears a certain destiny. Zinnia wears a Mega Anklet set with one of the mysterious Key Stones, which allows her Salamence to Mega Evolve.” Her name in other languages is Amaryllis, Lyris, Amalia, Tristana, and Higana.

We also learn that “even as the asteroid approaches, there is new movement from Team Magma or Team Aqua, depending on which game you play. It appears that either Courtney / Matt is targeting Trainers to steal the Key Stones needed to make Pokemon Mega Evolve.”

Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, Cresselia, and Heatran can be captured in Mirage spots via Soar, though the Pokemon will vary depending on which version you play. Regirock, Regice, and Registeel can of course be captured once you decipher braille messages throughout Hoenn. Once you capture the three golems and meet other special conditions, you can also encounter and capture Regigigas, who is “said to the creator of the Legendary trio.”

Eon Ticket Relay

To catch the Latias in Omega Ruby or Latios in Alpha Sapphire, Trainers must first revisit Southern Island by acquiring and using an Eon Ticket. The ticket can be shared with other players by activating StreetPass on BuzzNav. For those of you in the United Kingdom, 15 Pokemon fans will be selected to be the first people to receive the Eon Ticket – Junichi Masuda will give the tickets out at the UK’s OR/AS launch event in London so that fans can spread it across the country via StreetPass. You can enter for a chance to be one of these 15 people at PokemonEonTicket.com, which will also entitle you to a brand new 2DS.

Poke Miles and Medals earned in X/Y as well as OR/AS will allow Trainers to play “Mine Cart Adventure,” a new PGL attraction that will debut with the release of OR/AS. In Mine Cart Adventure, Trainers must navigate carts on winding tracks to collect Berries and win a variety of Poke Balls.
