On one hand, the art on the art rares is amazing (I honestly like Giratina even more than alt art from LOR). On the other, they are either stuck on digital only slop or IF they ever get printed, they will probably get some standalone casual friendly format and won't be viable for normal play...
Is it just meor does the card have kind of AI-ish feel to it? I went through the artist other cards and they did not convoke the same feeling to me (I actually really like his other cards), so it may just be the exgragated softness. I love Furret and was looking forward to it getting an IR, but...
For met, the biggest loss will be Dark Patch. Even though I do not attend big tournaments (money for both cards and traveling would be WAY over budget for the hobby), I am still trying to make Roaring Moon ex work. And it does. As long as it does not brick hard, I can compete with most of the...
With so many great SIRs, if pullrate isn't like Crown Zenith, this will be painfull for both those who crack packs and those who buy singles. Almost all the recent SIRs are out of reach for me now. I can't in good conscience spend more than 20-30€ on a card, and so many of my desired cards are...
I still stuck to my Roaring Moon ex deck, and even though it struggles with all the spread in the meta now, Snorlax is a free win for it. However, I do not think it will be that represented at larger tournaments, so Snorlax may be a good pick.
If anyone could find high resolution picture of that Slowpoke, I would be so thankful! I want to use it as my lock-screen. Just looking at that face makes my day better.
I am not sure with this one. The effect is strong, but which deck can commit so many slots to force a swap? But at least it a choice between coinflip probability of Catcher or costly but guaranteed boss.
I am most disappointed by Archaludon SIR. The IR from previous set had much more expressive art. This one looks like it floats in random space doing action figure pose. If someone told me it is FA, I would honestly believe them.
The list seem great. Affordable prime catcher, playset of Iono and Poffin. Can't really find anything bad with this one. Release could have been sooner, but this still feels like the most complete battle deck released yet. Even the Mew Vmax had to be combined from two copies to function properly.
That My First Battle deck seem so out of place as world championship reward... Even for side event where people probably should know how to play already.
I am honestly glad that the best cards will be promos. Affordable to everyone, and if I get a hit or two from the packs within the products, the better. I hate how they are making SIRs harder to pull in newer ScVio sets, so this at least offsets it a bit.
So, if my oponent had a hypothetical attack that would require to return an energy to hand as a part of the cost, would they be locked out of using that attack?
This just sucks. It may be fine for people that have infinite money to burn on Pokémon, but there are so many more with limited budget that are put off by the change. And not everyone lives in a rich country. Most people where I live do not even make 4 digits per month. And gues what, cards cost...
I feel like they missed an opportunity to balance ace-spec tools a bit more. They could have easily made it so that they can not be targeted by other trainer cards. As such, it would be much harder to remove them, but also tutor them or loop them from discard. Printing them in a format with...
