They look epic, Magnezone looks really epic though.
Reaper pulse seems like a decent attack too.

Magie's attack cost too much but the Dusknoir is cool - with the ability to remove damage from dusknoir and snipe attach it - fun. Also the Power to look at a hand can work well with Dusk-Gar deck variations...

About time the Magnezone and Dusknoir battle road promos got done in English. I love the art in these~
It's really good to see they're doing Special again in english Lets hope they don't drop it on it's head like last time and leave it all to an unofficial singapore company to translate the rest of the volumes.

Thank you, God in heaven. Pokemon Adventures is back! I never knew these existed til about two year ago when I read the first volume in a library. I wished they would continue printing them so I wouldn't have to read scanlated versions on OneManga. Yay!
And, wow, for promos those cards seem pretty good. Dusknoir's power and attack are nice, while Magenzone looks like it'd fit nicely in a Magnezone deck without the LV.X.

I'm not holding my breath on the Pokemon Special reprints just yet. It's really awesome they're finally rereleasing the manga, but if it's still flipped, I'm not so sure. One thing is for certain though, they'll still be a much better buy than the "Best of Pokemon Adventures" volumes released several months back.

Flipped as in left to right?
...The D/P-manga wasn't, so I'm quite sure 'Special won't be as well.
Stupid.

That's correct the Viz adaptation of Diamond and Pearl Adventure is not flipped, neither are any the movie manga released so far.
However, when Special was originally brought to the States it was flipped to the traditional American comic book left to right format. Presumably so it would be more friendly to a country that was, for the most part, still new to manga at the time. Because the recent "Best of" books still remained flipped, it's possible Viz will still use their same flipped adaptation as before for this rerelease instead of taking the extra time to give the series a proper adaptation.
This is a Pokemon manga after all, Viz is marketing it towards a younger demographic than other managa they publish. A demographic that wouldn't care much about whether or not it was true to the Japanese version. If the target doesn't care, why should Viz care? They could reprint that version of the manga they still have on file and a make a quick buck.
I may not be giving Viz enough credit though, we'll see what happens this summer.

I'm glad the manga is being reprinted. I've been trying to get into it, and I have the wimp-ish Best of Yellow/Red books, and I've also read all of Red and to about the end of Yellow on the internet, but it's not the same. Hopefully they keep printing them this time.

Nevermind that Diamond and Pearl Adventure isn't the actual Special manga but the creepy manga about some feisty feral kid.
Tonight's episode was fantastic Next weeks will be even more awesome.

By 'Glion' learning Fire Fang, do you mean Gliscor? And that's awesome about Swinub, even though I like it more than Mamoswine...I think the art work of Mamoswine could have been done differently...oh well, I hope she is able to train it and it doesn't turn out to be like Charizard.

It's still really good, though. :3
... But Special is WAY better.

Well, they should have the original non-flipped versions lying around as well. And they have to publish it all over again, so they might as well use the original format, which most manga fans are used to. ^-^
...And Special isn't exactly the most children-friendly manga out there...

Glion is Gliscor's Japanese name, so yes.
