Welcome everyone, this is my first thread in Pokébeach and its about a big hobby that i have: ¡Pokémon TCG! :)

In this thread i will post "Fake Text-Based Cards" (because i am not very good drawing Pokémon). I've always loved "Gym Leaders Set", therefore the first sets will be "XY Gym Leaders Mini-Sets" and then we'll see ;).

I want to do these mini-sets for now (the titles are subject to change):

1. First Challenges.
2. Golden Teenagers (Completed!)
3. Freaky Girls
4. Old Glories (Completed!)

I hope you enjoy reading (and suggesting changes or writing your opinion about the cards) as much as me doing them.

Here we go! :)

And the first i will do will be "Old Glories" Set, with my "Ramos' Gogoat" of the "May's Create-a-Card".

Ramos’ Gogoat– Grass – HP100
Stage 1 – Evolves from Ramos’ Skiddo

Ω Barrier: Whenever your opponent plays a Trainer card (excluding Pokémon Tools and Stadium cards), prevent all effect of that card done to this Pokémon.

gogoat.gif

Ability: Grass Pelt
Any damage done to this Pokémon by attacks is reduced by 10 for each [G] energy attached to it.

[G] Goattack: 20. Flip a coin. If heads, discard a Special Energy attached to the Defending Pokémon.

[G][G][C][C] Forest Tackle: 60+damage. If the Defending Pokémon has an ancient trait, this attack do 40 more damage.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: None
Retreat: 2

This card was borned as an attempt of counter for Seismitoad EX, Primal Groudon EX and Primal Kyogre EX.

About the first attack, if you attached "Trick Coin" to it, it will do 40 to Seismitoad EX and a high chance of discard the Double Colorless Energy. But if you attached "Silver Bangle" you can do 100 damage and a 50% of discard the Double Colorless Energy. I think is a great way but not so powerfull to say "Hello i'm your little nightmare" to Seismitoad EX.

The second is an attack at big cost, buuuuuut for that we have the ancient Trait, they can't discard our Double Colorless with Hammers or Team Flare Guys :). In turn 3 or less, with "Muscle Band" we do 240 damage to Primal Groudon EX or Primal Kyogre EX. BOOM!

Obviously is not perfect, but i don't want and "unbeatable" card, i want an interesting card. What do you think about it? :D

Wow, I don't even want to imagine how many cards you could draw with Ramos... it's kind of like how Colress has unlimited potential now thanks to Skyfield.

If you want to drive authenticity further, you could make the Stadiums base off of the Gyms in the games!

Thanks for your comment! :)

Yes, i knew that Ramos was to be a little powerful Supporter (even counting only your [G] Energy), for that i added the clause "You can’t play this card if it is the last card in your hand." but may be it isn't enough. As you say, Colress is more powerful with Skyfield (up to 16 cards :O). Its the time of Red Card!!! xD.

For now I haven't done any Gym Stadium, or Gym Badge or TM card. Because i want to do something different. I will do "Type Stadiums" of course, but at least, no Gym Stadium for now ;).

I add three more cards in this case of Wulfric ;).

Wulfric’s Cryogonal– Water – HP90
Basic Pokémon

cryogonal.gif

Wulfric’s Amnesia – Trainer

Choose 1 of the Defending Pokémon's attacks. That Pokémon can't use that attack during your opponent's next turn.

You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn (before your attack).

[W][C] Hail. Discard as many [W] Energy attached to your Pokémon as you like. This attack does 20 damage times the number of Energy cards you discarded.

Weakness: Metal (x2)
Resistance: Fighting (-20)
Retreat: 1

Should have 20x after 'Hail'.

Wulfric’s Bergmite– Water – HP70
Basic Pokémon

[W] Sleep Together: Search your deck for 3 cards that have Bergmite in its name and put them onto your Bench. Then switch this Pokémon with 1 of your Benched Pokémon that have not Bergmite in its name. If you can’t do that, you can`t do this attack.

[W][W][W][W] Freezing Cold: If the Defending Pokémon has 180 or more HP, flip two coins. If both are heads, the defending Pokémon is Knocked Out.

Weakness: Metal (x2)
Resistance: None
Retreat: 4

Instead of 'after that' Surfberg should say 'afterwards'. It should as read something like this:

"This attack does 10 more damage for each card on your bench that has Bergmite in its name. Shuffle all the Bergmite and all the cards attached to them into your deck. Shuffle your deck afterwards."

Frost Cavern – Trainer
Stadium

If the Ability “Snow Warning” is in play, put 2 counters instead of 1 on each player’s Pokémon (except [W] Pokémon). If don’t, add 1 Retreat cost to all Pokémon (except [W] Pokémon).

This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can’t play this card.

Should say "If you don't".

Gogoat Cheese – Trainer
Item

This card can’t be used in your first turn or in a Pokémon EX. When you play this card you can’t play another with the same name in your turn.

Heal 30 damage from one of your Pokémon. Prevent all effects of your opponent's attacks, except damage, done to this Pokémon during your opponent's next turn.

You may use as many Item cards as you like during your turn (before your attack).

Should read:
"This card can’t be used during your first turn or on a Pokémon-EX. You may play only 1 Gogoat Cheese card during your turn (before your attack)." The latter comes from a Supporter card's bottom text.

Also, the "(before your attack)" clauses should always be italicised.

Grassy Terrain – Trainer
Stadium

Once during each player’s turn, that player may heal 20 damage from each Pokémon, except [C] Pokémon and Pokémon that have free retreat cost. Each [G] Pokémon in play has +30 HP.

This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can’t play this card.

"from each of their Pokémon"

Wulfric – Trainer
Supporter

Shuffle all the [W] energies of your discard pile into your deck.

You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn (before your attack).

"Shuffle all [W] Energy cards from your discard pile into your deck."

Wulfric’s Coat – Trainer
Item

Pokemon Tool: Attach a Pokemon Tool to 1 of your Pokemon that doesn’t already have a Pokemon Tool attached to it.

If your opponent’s defending Pokémon is a [W] Pokémon and tries to attack the Pokémon this card is attached, flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage done to this Pokémon.

You may use as many Item cards as you like during your turn (before your attack).
'Defending' should be capitalized.

Also, the card should read:

If your opponent’s Attacking Pokémon is a [W] type and attacks the Pokémon this card is attached to, flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to this Pokémon.

-------

That's all the differences I can remember from the top of my head. I suggest whenever you create a card you research the correct wording. I like to use the official Pokemon TCG Database to search for wordings. But to be honest, your wording was of a pretty high standard assuming you've only started text faking recently, and I'm loving the card effects! :D

First, thanks for comment :). I am a Spanish collector of Pokémon TCG, "all" my cards are in Spanish (not all because "Plasma Blast" or "Double Crisis" didn't come in Spanish for example), so i am newish in the fact of reading or writing Fake-cards in English. I search in Bulbapedia for similar attacks/abilities and how they are written, but i don't always success (as you can see :p). And sometimes i do stupid mistakes (like Paralized, because in Spanish is "Paralizado"). So thanks again for the corrections, i really appreciate them :).

Now I will discuss some points of some changes you suggested.

Wulfric’s Bergmite– Water – HP70
Basic Pokémon

bergmite.gif

[W] Sleep Together: Search your deck for 3 cards that have Bergmite in its name and put them onto your Bench. Then switch this Pokémon with 1 of your Benched Pokémon that have not Bergmite in its name. If you can’t do that, you can`t do this attack.

Weakness: Metal (x2)
Resistance: None
Retreat: 2

This attack sounds weird Dx

Yes, I know... ^^'

I wanted to write something according to this info "They live in herds above the snow line on mountains." But i wanted that effect: come back to Bench and summon 3 Bergmite with it while other Pokémon comes to the fight. So I thought that a good idea would be "Sleep time", and now... while i am writing this i've noticed that "Sleep Time" is better than "Sleep Together" so i will change it for this.

I think not. I am always talking about "Snow Warning". If it is "blablabla", If it isn't "blablabla". So i will change "If don't" for "If it isn't" that i think is the mistake.

I think it would be "If your opponent’s Active Pokémon is a [W] Pokémon and attacks the Pokémon this card is attached to, flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage done to this Pokémon."

Because i believe that Active is the word that we were searching jeje. And in Helioptile's Promo says "...[W] Pokémon...", so Pokémon instead of Type seems the right word.

But to be honest, your wording was of a pretty high standard assuming you've only started text faking recently, and I'm loving the card effects! :D

And again thanks a lot :), i am beginning in this "world of text-based Fake-cards" and comments like that makes me desire to continue with it.

Acrobatics should read:

"You may discard a Pokemon Tool card attached to your opponent's Active Pokemon. If you do, this attack does 70 more damage."

Sorry, I confused "that" and "this", I was talking about Jumpluff 's Tool. So with your correction and the "this" the sentence would be like:

"You may discard a Pokemon Tool card attached to this Pokémon. If you do, this attack does 70 more damage."

Another time, thanks ;)

It's like this because you can do 10+30 Silver Bangle+70 (discarding it) and 10 more the second time you attack: 120 for two Energies without taking damage or discarding Energies i think is a very good deal.

Or... you can attach "Wulfric's Locket", do Fotosynthesis heal 60 damage and then 80 damage to the Active discarding the Locket and in the next turn attach a Silver Bangle or Muscle Band. I think is a very interesting Jumpluff :)

Finally the first "unofficial" Leader's Pokémon beginning with Florges.
