The Phantom Forces one-pack blister comes with either a holo XY24 Greninja promo or a reprinted XY Talonflame on galaxy holofoil paper. The pack costs $4.98 and also comes with a Pikachu coin. The Greninja promo was originally given a very limited release in Japan on two weekends in May to those who earned enough points playing in certain events.

In the same vein as last year's Shiny Collection mini-set, a new Team Magma vs. Team Aqua Double Crisis mini-set will be released in Japan on January 30th! The set will contain 34 cards. Each booster pack will come with 6 cards for 186 yen and a guaranteed holo card. Going off the ad below and the name of the set, Camerupt and Sharpedo will be featured (and perhaps their Mega Evolutions?). This mini-set will obviously be an OR/AS-themed set.

On the same day, a Kyogre and Groudon deck box will be released with two Team Magma vs. Team Aqua Double Crisis booster packs and five Energy cards. It will cost 510 yen. The deck box is a "half box," meaning it will only fit around 30 cards. Thanks goes to Franco T. for the translations!

Although we saw this image earlier this week and chose not to post it (as to not spoil prereleases), it's now propagated on to social media and is no longer a secret. As such, the set list for Phantom Forces has been leaked! The listing supposedly came from the Phantom Forces Collector's Album, which some international stores are selling early, but we cannot confirm this for sure.

As usual I will post 100+ card scans from the set tomorrow night as the first international prereleases are taking place. Be sure to check back then!

The set description for Primal Clash has revealed the presence of M Gardevoir-EX and M Aggron-EX! M Gardevoir-EX's card template was used in the prototype image for the M Diancie-EX Pack, so if the template was accurate, it will be a Fairy-type and come with 210 HP. The set will also feature new Spirit Link cards and Special Energy.

As with Phantom Forces, a "Hoenn's Region Collector Album" will also be released alongside Primal Clash for $4.99. It can store 60 cards, comes with one booster pack, and features Pokemon from the Hoenn region on the cover.

After centuries asleep, the deep power of Primal Groudon-EX erupts from the land as Primal Kyogre-EX crashes in from the sea, riding titanic waves into battle! With colossal new arrivals like Mega Gardevoir-EX and Mega Aggron-EX, the Pokémon TCG: XY - Primal Clash expansion is alive with the primordial power of Ancient Traits - plus all-new Spirit Link and Special Energy cards! Let the earth shake and the oceans thunder, and get ready for a primal clash like no other!

  • Over 150 cards
  • 12 new Pokémon-EX, including 2 Mega Evolution Pokémon and 2 Primal Reversion Pokémon

A new Nintendo press release has announced that the Gameboy Color games Pokemon Puzzle Challenge and Pokemon Trading Card Game will be available on the 3DS Virtual Console starting November 6th and 13th for $4.99 and $5.99, respectively. The TCG was first available to European and Australian fans in July, but now it's coming stateside!

Tomorrow Pokemon.com will be releasing OR/AS demo codes to all who have signed up for its Pokemon Trainer Club. However, Nintendo has also announced additional ways through which the codes will be distributed in the United States:

  • Codes will be distributed at select cinema locations nationwide from Nov. 7–Nov. 13 (while supplies last).
  • Check with your local retailer during the holidays to find out about special demo code giveaways (while supplies last).
  • Get a code with your purchase of the new Pokémon Art Academy game (out Oct. 24) when you buy from Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo 3DS or 2DS system.
  • You’ll also get a code with your purchase of one of two classic Pokémon games coming to the Virtual Console service on Nintendo eShop: the Pokémon Puzzle Challenge game (out Nov. 6) or the Pokémon Trading Card Game (out Nov. 13). You'll find your free demo code on your eShop receipt (download codes available while supplies last).
  • Codes will be emailed the week of Oct. 31 to select Nintendo customers with Nintendo Network IDs who have signed up to receive promotional emails from Nintendo.
  • Codes will also be distributed during the holiday mall tour from Nov. 24‒Dec. 21 at 16 different locations throughout the nation. Talk to a staff member to try out Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire or any of the featured Nintendo 3DS games to receive two codes—one for you, and one for a friend (while supplies last).
