Update (9:30 PM) - Here's also another trailer that aired on Pokemon Smash which shows a few new small scenes. It was also confirmed by Team Rocket's voice actors on their new "Pokemon Radio Show" that Team Rocket will NOT be in the movie, the first time in Pokemon's history (though considering they're usually an afterthought, this might be for the best - it sure seems like the writers have been phasing them out of everything lately).

Finally some new scenes! Two new trailers for Kyurem vs. the Sacred Swordsman - Keldeo have been released by the official Pokemon movie website - click the thumbnails below to open them. The movie will be released in Japan on Saturday and as usual Gin is going write a summary that we'll post here!

Update (10:30 PM) - We now have reason to believe Dialga-EX and Miracle Diamond are fake; they have been crossed out in the news story for now and removed from the story's title. Skyla and Escape Rope are of course real though.

According to several Japanese blogs, Dialga-EX will be featured in BW5 Cold Flare / Freeze Bolt along with an accompanying ACE SPEC card called Miracle Diamond. We're not totally sure the information or spoilers are true due to a lack of card images, but their translations are below thanks to Bangiras. We have also translated a Skyla card and Escape Rope card that were revealed when Black 2 and White 2 were released that we weren't able to get to because of our busy game coverage. Their card images are below.

Dialga-EX - Dragon - HP180

Ability: Change the Time
Look at the top 5 cards from your deck and return them to the top of your deck in any order. You can only use this Ability once per turn.

[M][C][C] Metal Slash: 20+ damage. Look at your opponent's hand. This attack does 20 more damage for each Energy card you find there.
[M][F][C][C] Roar of Time: 130 damage. You may return all Energy cards attached to Dialga-EX to your hand. If you do, your opponent returns all Energy cards attached to the Defending Pokemon to his or her hand.

Weakness: Dragon (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 4

Miracle Diamond - Trainer

When Dialga-EX is Knocked Out, shuffle Dialga-EX and all cards attached to it into your deck (excluding this ACE SPEC card).

ACE SPEC: You can’t have more than 1 ACE SPEC card in your deck.

You may play as many Item cards as you like during your turn (before your attack).

Escape Rope from BW5 Cold Flare and Freeze BoltEscape Rope - Trainer

You may play as many Item cards as you like during your turn (before your attack).

Skyla from BW5 Cold Flare and Freeze BoltSkyla - Trainer

You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn (before your attack).

Bangiras has translated the rest of the new Pokedex entries from Black 2 and White 2. As stated before, only Unova Pokemon and old Pokemon in the regional Unova Pokedex received updated entries. The entries are shared between both versions of the games.

  • Rattata: It spends all day looking for food. Since its fangs continue to lengthen until it dies, it gnaws on hard objects to file them down.
  • Raticate: An unpredictable and brutal Pokemon. It can even file down thick concrete with its elongated fangs.
  • Sandshrew: It digs a deep hole and lives there. When danger draws near, it curls its body into a ball and patiently waits for the enemy’s attacks to subside.
  • Sandslash: Its spikes are made of hardened skin. It attacks enemies by curling into a ball and piercing them with the spikes.
  • Clefairy: On the night of the full moon, Clefairy gathered from who knows where launch into a dance. They float because they’re bathed in the moonlight.
  • Clefable: Its ears are so good that it can hear the sound of a pin drop from a kilometer away. So, it generally stays in quiet places.
  • Vulpix: As it’s raised, the fur on its 6 tails becomes healthy and beautiful. When hugged, it’s slightly hot.
  • Ninetales: Each of its 9 tails is packed with supernatural power. It can live for 1000 years.
  • Jigglypuff: Look into its round eyes, and it will begin to sing a song so soothing that you can’t help falling asleep.
  • Wigglytuff: The feel of its smooth fur is too nice for words; if you accidentally touch it you won’t be able to let go.
  • Zubat: Since it emits ultrasonic waves while flying to ascertain its surroundings, it gets by even without any eyes.
  • Golbat: In the middle of the night it flies around energetically, pierces the targeted prey with its fangs, and sucks the prey’s blood until it dies.
  • Psyduck: It is often sleeping off a headache. When its brain cells are stimulated, it can use mysterious powers.
  • Golduck: When its forehead glows ominously, Golduck can demonstrate 100% of its power.
  • Growlithe: It’s very loyal to its trainer. If you approach it carelessly, it will bark furiously and chase you out of town.
  • Arcanine: Many people have become fascinated with this figure, which can run a distance of 10,000 kilometers over the course of a day.
  • Magnemite: It floats because the electromagnetic waves emitted from the units on its right and left disrupt gravity.
  • Magneton: The powered-up electromagnetic waves of 3 connected Magnemite can even dry up all of the moisture around them.
  • Seel: The colder it is, the more energetic it becomes. It happily swims around in freezing oceans with ice floating in them.
  • Dewgong: Its streamlined body lowers water resistance, letting it swim through freezing oceans at a speed of 8 knots.
  • Grimer: Sludge turned into a Pokemon. They congregate in filthy places in order to add more bacteria to their bodies.
  • Muk: It’s really stinky! Its body is made up of deadly poison, and any plants that Muk passes over wither and die.
  • Onix: As it opens its big mouth and gulps down large amounts of dirt, it creates long tunnels.
  • Lickitung: If you’re licked by its saliva-covered tongue, you’ll prickle and go numb. When it extends its tongue, its tail retracts.
  • Koffing: Since its thin, balloon-like body is filled to bursting with toxic gases, it occasionally explodes.
  • Weezing: It sucks up the poison gases emitted from garbage, mixes them together inside its body, and spreads an even fouler scent.
  • Tangela: It’s covered in numerous wriggling vines, so its true form is unknown. The blue vines grow for its entire life.
  • Staryu: As long as the red core remains, even if its body is torn apart, it can regenerate and return to normal in an instant.
  • Starmie: It emits radio waves from its core, which glows in seven colors, and sends them into space in some form of correspondence.
  • Electabuzz: Research into how to store thunder and release it at any time, like an Electabuzz does, is ongoing.
  • Magmar: When it breathes out scorching flames, the area around it becomes shrouded in a heat haze, and Magmar’s form becomes hard to see.
  • Pinsir: It swings its powerful horns around. Once it closes its 2 horns around prey, it won’t let go until the horns are torn off.
  • Lapras: A highly intelligent Pokemon that understands human speech, and is beloved for ferrying people across the ocean on its back.
  • Ditto: It rearranges all of the cells in its body and transforms into an exact likeness of anything it sees, but when its power wanes it returns to normal.
  • Eevee: A unique Pokemon that possesses the ability to evolve in different ways thanks to its unstable genes.
  • Vaporeon: Since the composition of its body’s cells is similar to water molecules, it can melt into water and become invisible.
  • Jolteon: The hairs all over its body, which stand on end due to the electricity stored inside its body, can be fired in succession like missiles.
  • Flareon: The air it inhales feeds a flame sac inside its body, and is exhaled as a 1700 degree flame.
  • Crobat: Now that it has 4 wings, it can fly even more quickly and quietly, sneaking up on prey without being noticed.
  • Cleffa: It is rumored that Cleffa can often be seen in places where shooting stars have fallen.
  • Igglybuff: If its springy, soft, and slightly sweet-smelling body jiggles once, it won’t stop.
  • Mareep: When it gets cold it gathers static electricity, then its fur puffs up to double its usual size and the tip of its tail glows faintly.
  • Flaaffy: Since the skin on the parts of its body that aren’t covered with wool repels electricity like rubber, it doesn’t get paralyzed.
  • Ampharos: The dazzling light at the tip of its tail reaches distant foreign countries, and is treated as an ocean guidepost.
  • Marill: Since its fat-filled tail acts as a substitute life preserver, it’s safe even in fast-flowing rivers.
  • Azumarill: Its long ears are excellent sensors. It can identify sounds in the water and know what’s moving around.
  • Sunkern: Some mornings they suddenly come raining down. Knowing that they are weak, they fixedly stockpile energy until they evolve.
  • Sunflora: It faces in the direction of the sun all day long in order to convert the sunlight it’s bathed in into energy.
  • Yanma: It flies freely in the sky thanks to its rapid wing beats. It’s undaunted even when it has to stop short.
  • Espeon: It feels air currents with the fine fur all over its body, and predicts the enemy’s thoughts and the weather.
  • Umbreon: When it bathes in the moon’s aura, the ring-shaped patterns all over its body glow and it overflows with a mysterious power.
  • Dunsparce: It makes mazes in dark places. If it’s seen by someone, it tries to burrow into the ground with its tail and escape.
  • Gligar: It clings to its intended prey, and while the prey is surprised and bewildered, sticks it with the spike on its tail.
  • Steelix: The steel it ingested while gulping down dirt transformed its body, making it harder than diamond.
  • Shuckle: Before long, the berries it stockpiled inside its pot-like shell will change into a thick juice.
  • Heracross: It uses its prided horn to hurl any enemy, regardless of weight, far away and into the ground.
  • Sneasel: A sly Pokemon that will suddenly extend the long claws that are concealed in its fingers and make the opponent flinch.
  • Swinub: It searches for food while rubbing the tip of its nose against the ground to dig. Sometimes it digs up a hot spring.
  • Piloswine: It has an excellent sense of smell, and can even find mushrooms hidden beneath the frozen ground.
  • Corsola: It likes clean southern oceans. That’s because if it’s in a dirty ocean, its coral branches become dull in color and worn-looking.
  • Remoraid: The water jet it shoots from its mouth will hit even moving prey 100 meters away.
  • Octillery: It likes grottoes and pots due to its natural inclination to enter holes. From there, it breathes out ink to attack.
  • Delibird: It carries food all day long. When people have accidents in the mountains, it gives out its food, saving them.
  • Mantine: It swims, builds its speed, then leaps out over the waves and continues to glide for up to 100 meters.
  • Skarmory: It has a sturdy and heavy-looking steel body, but since it’s thin and light it can fly at speeds of 300 km/hr.
  • Elekid: It spins both arms round and round, electricity is generated, and the space between its horns glows blue and white.
  • Magby: Although it is small in stature it has a body temperature of 600 degrees. Each time it breathes in or out, sparks escape from its nose and mouth.
  • Larvitar: It’s born deep in the bowels of the earth. It consumes all of the dirt around it, emerges above ground, and turns into a Pupitar.
  • Pupitar: A cocoon that will abruptly release the compressed gas inside of its body and rocket around violently.
  • Tyranitar: As it walks, the earth rumbles, and even large mountains crumble, changing the surrounding terrain.
  • Wingull: It builds its nest on steep cliffs, and uses the ocean wind to glide upwards into the wide sky.
  • Pelipper: It flies close to the ocean’s surface so it can scoop up swimming prey with its big beak and carry it away.
  • Slakoth: It sustains itself by eating only 3 leaves a day. The other 20 hours are spent sleeping.
  • Vigoroth: Since its heartbeat is fast and the blood in its entire body is boiling, it can’t sit still for even 1 second.
  • Slaking: It spends its life lying down. When the nearby grass that it eats runs out, it will finally roll over and move.
  • Azurill: It swings its nutrient-packed tail around, and stands up to opponents that are stronger than itself.
  • Nosepass: It is always facing North. It draws nearby iron towards itself with its magnetic nose in order to fortify its defenses.
  • Skitty: It plays at chasing its own tail and gets dizzy, displaying one aspect of its adorableness.
  • Delcatty: It doesn’t have a permanent home, but searches for comfortable, pretty areas and sleeps there.
  • Aron: It eats iron ore in order to build its steel body. Sometimes it causes problems by eating rails as well.
  • Lairon: When fighting over territory, Lairon crash their steel bodies together, and the sparks literally fly.
  • Aggron: It claims an entire mountain as its territory. Even a badly injured Aggron cannot be taken lightly in a fight.
  • Roselia: It uses its right and left hands to attack in a variety of ways with 2 types of poison. The stronger its fragrance, the healthier it is.
  • Wailmer: It eats 1 ton of food every day. It plays by vigorously shooting stockpiled seawater out of its nose.
  • Wailord: Sometimes it launches its huge body up over the waves, generating an impact that makes its opponents faint.
  • Numel: It stores 1200 degree magma inside its body. After it uses a Fire-type attack, its hump shrivels.
  • Camerupt: The volcano in the hump on its back erupts in a huge way once every 10 years. But it also erupts when it’s violently angered.
  • Spoink: It uses its tail as a spring, and since the bouncing makes its heart move, if it stops it will die.
  • Grumpig: It bolsters its psychic power with black pearls, and manipulates the opponent with strange dance steps.
  • Trapinch: It makes a bowl-shaped burrow that’s impossible to escape from, and waits for prey to fall in.
  • Vibrava: It vibrates its 2 wings at high speed, and the ultrasonic waves that come out induce violent headaches.
  • Flygon: It is called the “spirit of the desert”. It conceals itself inside a sandstorm that was created by its wing beats.
  • Swablu: For some reason, it really likes to ride on top of people’s heads and pretend to be a hat.
  • Altaria: On sunny days, it flies freely around in the sky, passing through fluffy clouds, and sings in a beautiful soprano.
  • Zangoose: It shares a destiny with Seviper. When they meet, it immediately extends the claws on its forepaws in threat.
  • Seviper: It is always sharpening the sword on its tail with rocks, so the cutting edge is superior. It shares a destiny with Zangoose.
  • Lunatone: It seems as though the fluctuation in its power is connected to the waxing and waning of the moon. It becomes vigorous on the night of the full moon.
  • Solrock: Since solar energy is the source of its power, it is strong during the day. When it spins, its body shines.
  • Corphish: It has a tough life force and will adapt and reproduce in any river, no matter how filthy the water.
  • Crawdaunt: A belligerent Pokemon that will pinch every Pokemon in its scissors and hurl them out of its territory!
  • Baltoy: It was discovered in ancient ruins. It moves while spinning, finds comrades and creates a pack.
  • Claydol: A strange Pokemon that appears to have been born from a clay doll made by ancient humans 20,000 years ago.
  • Castform: Since this Pokemon’s cells are affected by temperature and humidity, its form changes depending on the weather.
  • Shuppet: Whenever someone bears a grudge against someone else, it absorbs the dark, sad feelings and steadily grows stronger.
  • Banette: A discarded stuffed animal became a grudge-filled Pokemon. It is searching for the child who discarded it.
  • Tropius: It flies in the sky with its big leaves, and distributes the sweet fruit which grows from its neck and is popular among children.
  • Absol: It emerges from deep in the mountains in an attempt to inform people of disasters it sensed with its horn.
  • Spheal: It isn’t skilled at swimming yet, and can move more quickly by rolling. When it’s happy, it claps for everyone.
  • Sealeo: It can balance anything round on its nose–a Pokeball, a Spheal–and spin it around freely.
  • Walrein: Aside from the cold, its thick blubber also wards off enemy attacks. It crushes ice with its prided fangs.
  • Beldum: All of its cells are magnets. It transmits magnetic force from its body to communicate with its friends.
  • Metang: 2 Beldum combined. Since the 2 brains became linked, its psychic power grew even stronger.
  • Metagross: 4 brains linked up, and it analyzes the enemy with calculations that would outshine a supercomputer.
  • Budew: It is sensitive to changes in the temperature around it. When it gets hot, the bud opens, and it scatters pollen that’s packed with poison.
  • Roserade: It lures prey with a sweet scent, then uses the poisonous whips on both arms to prick them, bind them, and bring them down.
  • Combee: A Pokemon 3-pack. At bedtime, 100 Combee gather and make a big nest.
  • Vespiquen: Its lower body is a nest for its children. It releases a variety of pheromones to freely manipulate its children.

  • Floatzel: Many live in fishing villages, rescuing drowning people and hauling in the day’s catch.
  • Drifloon: It’s said to be a guidepost for souls. Children who’ve owned a Drifloon vanish without warning.
  • Drifblim: It transports people and Pokemon. However, since it’s carried by the wind, it can’t choose its destination.
  • Buneary: It unfurls its curled-up ear forcefully against the ground, and bounces so high it surprises even itself.
  • Lopunny: It is very wary. When it senses danger, it bounds away easily.

  • Skorupi: It lives in arid environments, and can lie in wait for prey for a full year without eating anything.
  • Drapion: It batters the opponent with its impressive power, then stings it with deadly poison to finish the job.
  • Croagunk: It inflates its poison sacs and croaks, the creepy sound echoes all around, and when the opponent flinches it uses its Poison Jab.
  • Toxicroak: Toxicroak makes sounds with its throat before battle in order to mix the poison that’s stored in its poison sacs.
  • Carnivine: It wraps its tentacles around the branch of a tree, and waits for prey to be lured in by the sweet scent of its saliva.

  • Weavile: They pursue prey as a pack, communicating by using their claws to leave signs on rocks.
  • Magnezone: It emits a magnetic field that is too strong, drawing in other Magnezone and becoming completely unable to move.
  • Lickilicky: Its saliva is comprised of many ingredients that can dissolve anything, so if you are licked, you’ll go permanently numb.
  • Tangrowth: Even if its arms are eaten, it’s unconcerned. Its regenerative ability is high, so it will be back to normal in no time.
  • Electivire: It shoves the tips of its tails into the opponent and immediately delivers more than 200,000 volts of electrical current.

  • Glaceon: By lowering the temperature, it freezes the fur all over its body into sharply pointed needles, then fires them.
  • Gliscor: It dances in the sky without making a sound, approaches its prey, and BAM! takes out the vitals in one shot!
  • Mamoswine: It’s said that a large number of Mamoswine perished when the temperature rose at the end of the Ice Age.
  • Probopass: It uses magnetism to freely manipulate the 3 “Mini-nose” units.

The prototype image for the "Plasma Gang's Power Half Deck" that will be released alongside BW7 Plasma Gale has been revealed and will feature Klinklang and its pre-evolutions. It appears a new mechanic will be featured in BW7, as the Klinklang card below has "Team Plasma" under its HP in a special blue bar. This will probably be a new version of the "Owner's" mechanic, as with cards from Generation IV like Gyarados G (G for Team Galactic). Unlike the Generation IV cards, however, Klinklang remains a Stage 2 card instead of a Basic Pokemon and does not have anything prepended or appended to its name like previous incarnations of Owner's Pokemon (like Dark Blastoise, Team Aqua's Walrein, or the aforementioned Gyarados G).

According to various product distributors, America's BW7 set will be released in stores on November 7th. As usual, prereleases will take place the two weekends prior to that date. Since Japan's upcoming BW6 Cold Flare and Freeze Bolt are meant to advertise Black 2 and White 2, and the games will be released in America on October 7th, it's likely Cold Flare and Freeze Bolt will be our BW7 set.

TPCi has also announced that select top players who compete in the World Championship's video game tournament will have their teams distributed via Wi-Fi to Black 2 and White 2 so that you can battle against them in the World Tournament feature! The games will be released in America on October 7th.

Finalists to Battle for Special Prize at the 2012 Pokémon World Championships

Bellevue, WA - July 2, 2012 - Three days of intense Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) and video game competition at the 2012 Pokémon U.S. National Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana culminated in the crowning of six U.S. National Champions and the formation of an elite group of finalists ready to battle against the world's best this August at the 2012 Pokémon World Championships in Hawaii. Genesect

An early screening of Kyurem and the Sacred Swordman - Keldeo took place in Japan today, as has been the case for Pokemon movies these past few years. And as usual, after the credits finished, a teaser for next year's movie rolled. According to one moviegoer, the teaser showed some kind of "flying saucer" hovering over a wasteland and changing into Genesect! Not that there was any doubt Genesect would be featured in the 16th movie as the last fifth generation Pokemon to be revealed, but still exciting nonetheless! Hopefully we'll see the teaser online within the next few weeks and Genesect's official revealing soon after.
