Yeah! First news story! The soon to be released Pokémon Colosseum for Gamecube will in fact allow trainers to capture unobtainable Pokémon from the previous sets as well as the Ruby and Sapphire ones.
In the game, there is a new RPG mode where you are some freaky looking guy, pictured on the right, whom is part of Team Snatch, a team dedicated to capturing other people’s Pokémon by stealing them. In the mode, you come across trainers that have the unobtainable Pokémon, weaken them, and then capture (steal) them. By doing this, you will be able to download their Pokémon to your Ruby or Sapphire game boy packs. Though it is a kind of an unusual way to get the unobtainable Pokémon, due to this not being the traditional way of capturing Pokémon, it does allow you to get them. It is not certain whether this is the only way to capture the unobtainable Pokémon, since battling the amount of trainers as there are unobtainable Pokémon would take an extremely long time. More details on the game when it comes out on November 21st in Japan and December 4th in the USA.
