Three New Pokemon!
The official Pokemon 2005 movie website has been updated with three new Diamond and Pearl Pokemon silhouettes. As you may remember from a previous news story, we stated that the three new Pokemon, which at the time only had their names revealed to us, could be related to Sneasel, Sudowoodo, or could just be a new Pokemon. Well, from looking at the silhouettes of the new Pokemon below, I would say that the middle Pokemon is definitely a baby Sudowoodo. It has those three orbs that Sudowoodo has, and it just generally looks like it could be a baby form of it. I think that the right Pokemon could be a baby Sneasel, Mawile, or even a Meditite. The left one is probably just a new one, since it doesn’t appear to be related to anything previously known. Those are just my opinions, though. If you have any of your own, be sure to post them in the news commenting system. :)
New 8th Movie Info
The Pokemon 2005 movie site also confirmed today that the Regis would be in the 8th movie, as well as Mew, Lucario, and the three new Pokemon. Not like we did not already know most of that from the CoroCoro pages, but at least now it is official. The website also revealed that the height of Lucario is 4 feet, and it weighs 119 pounds, as well as a new image of it, as seen to the right. Also, apparently the role of the Regis in the movie will be to guard the Tree of Origin, where they stop Ash and crew from getting to the tree. At this time, the roles of Lucario and Mew are still unknown, as well as the full roles of the Regis and the three new Pokemon. When more info is revealed to us on the 8th movie, we will get it to you as soon as possible!
Golden Sky, Silvery Sea Scans!
Vincent0906 has kindly scanned for us some cards from the Golden Sky, Silvery Sea set, which he opened from the Japanese pre-construction decks. An interesting note on the decks is that while all three should come in 1st edition, the Feraligatr deck has undergone a printing error and there are no 1st editions of it available in the Japanese version. I thought that was a pretty interesting tid-bit of info, since I have never heard anything like this before happening with the Japanese versions of cards. Also, Vincent has informed me that in this set, there will be a Scizor ex that can evolve from Scyther (ex), which means it can evolve from either Scyther or Scyther ex. Seems pretty cool!
Anyways, you can view the scans Vincent scanned by clicking the links below. An auction on E-bay has also put up two scans of Espeon ex and Tyranitar ex, which you can view by clicking their names below.
