Player Clubs, MT, PBR Not Out

EDIT: Added many Mysterious Treasures card images and packaging images, including its set logo (second news story).

New Player Club Promos – In Japan, when you earn a certain amount of points from playing the Pokemon Trading Card Game, you receive special cards for your efforts. For playing one game, you receive 100 points, for winning a game, you receive 100 additional points, and for playing in an event, you are awarded 500 points. Recently, six new cards were released to players – Dialga, Palkia, Manaphy, Piplup, Chimchar, and Turtwig, with the starters worth 2,000 points, Manaphy worth 3,000 points, Dialga worth 5,000 points, and Palkia worth 7,000 points. These are the same cards from which Umbreon * and Espeon * from POP 5 are from (which is the “Player Club”), and, therefore, we may see these cards in English one day. Next month, the 10,000 point promo card will be revealed to Japanese players, and when it is, we will post it here (my guess is that it will be Darkrai, especially since the 10th movie comes out next month and it’s featured in the film). Thanks go to Mon-san and Nanimonoka for the scans and news! Click the thumbnails below for larger pictures. We will have translations of the cards later.

Battle Revolution Not Out? – Target and Best Buy, as well as other retail giants, do not seem to have Pokemon Battle Revolution today, even though today is the official release date for the game. According to weekly store ads (in the LA Times :p) and employees at the stores, EBGames should have it tomorrow, Target and Toys R Us will be selling the game on Wednesday, and Best Buy will sell it on Thursday. However, it is best to call individual stores before going, since there is a likely chance they may have the games earlier and may be selling them before their ads say (since that is sometimes the case with other items stores sell, like booster packs of new sets, in the case of Target). So, where do you buy Pokemon Battle Revolution today? I have only heard people stating they cannot find the game (in my own case, too), and have heard of no one actually finding it. It seems the “release date” was more of a “shipment” date.

Pokemon Heroes Airing – Pokemon Heroes, the fifth Pokemon movie, featuring “Latio” (as Cartoon Network spells it) and Latias, will be airing on Cartoon Network today at 12:30 PM. Many fans consider this movie to be in the top three of best Pokemon films.
