All Poke Ball Item Pokemon in SSBB – Data miners have revealed the full list of Pokemon that will be available as Poke Ball item Pokemon in Brawl: Bellossom, Bonsly, Celebi, Chikorita, Deoxys, Electrode, Entei, Gardevoir, Goldeen, Groudon, Gulpin, Ho-Oh, Jirachi, Kyogre, Latias and Latios, Lugia, Manaphy, Meowth, Metagross, Mew, Munchlax, Piplup, Snorlax, Staryu, Suicune, Togepi, Torchic, Weavile, and Wobbuffet.
Bellossom puts you to sleep with Sleep Powder, Bonsly can be used like a rock to throw at someone, Celebi appears and may drop a CD, Chikorita uses Razor Leaf on your opponents, Deoxys goes up into the air and fires a Hyper Beam down on the stage, Electrode uses Explosion, Entei uses Fire Spin, Gardevoir helps to protect its user from projectiles, Goldeen flops around and does nothing, Groudon burns your opponents with its heat, Gulpin uses Swallow to trap players and then spit them out, Ho-Oh uses Sacred Fire, Jirachi appears and may drop a CD, Kyogre uses Spout, Latias and Latios zig-zag across the battlefield to cause massive damage, Lugia uses Aeroblast, Manaphy switches two opponent’s bodies with Heart Swap, Meowth uses Pay Day to cause massive damage, Metagross uses Earthquake like Venusaur from Melee, Mew appears and may drop a CD, Munchlax walks around and eats items, Piplup uses Surf to slide people around and push them off the stage, Snorlax jumps up and uses Body Slam on a portion of the field, Staryu follows an opponent and uses Swift, Suicune uses Ice Beam, Togepi uses Metronome, Torchic engulfs nearby players with flames, Weavile runs around the stage using Quick Attack to slash players, and Wobbuffet uses Counter to knock away characters.
Since the demos of the game occurred, a couple of Pokemon and Assist Trophies have been removed from the final version. You may recall that Darkrai, Shaymin, and Cherrim were confirmed as Poke Ball item Pokemon a few weeks ago. However, this is no longer the case. What could be the reasons for their removal? Perhaps it was too much data for Wi-Fi play, and lead to slower battles?
