2009’s Format DP-On Worldwide

According to the Japanese Worlds 2009 website, next year’s format in Japan will be Diamond and Pearl-on. This is the exact same format as America and the rest of the world next year, meaning for the first time in TCG history, the entire world will be playing the same sets at all sanctioned tournaments (though Japan will be one set ahead of us).

This was an extremely smart move by Pokemon USA, Pokemon Card Laboratory, or whoever decided it, so they should be given thanks for it. We are just one set behind Japan, and by only three months, so it makes sense everyone should be playing the same format. Now countries won’t be out of sync with each other.
