The Basic Energy of ‘LEGEND;’ Some Facts

Yesterday I forgot to post the Basic Energy of LEGEND: HeartGold and SoulSilver Collection, which you can see below. As we reported a while ago, the Energy feature silhouettes of certain Pokemon; they also feature specific locations from Johto. For example, Water Energy uses Lugia’s silhouette and depicts the Whirl Islands. Could this be a new trend with Energy in future sets? We’ll see!

To emphasize this from yesterday, we are 99% sure Baby Pokemon can no longer evolve. There is nothing on the Baby’s card or the respective Basic that indicates they can. There could be a rule about it in the card rule book, but that is extremely doubtful, since little kids would probably never know about it and nothing on the Baby Pokemon shows what they evolve into. We have thus concluded new Baby Pokemon do not evolve anymore.

Many people have been asking what’s so special about Great Pokemon in terms of play. Well, there is nothing special about them – “Great Pokemon” doesn’t even appear on the cards. So in terms of playing them, Great Pokemon are just like any other Pokemon card. They just look more prettiful. ;)
