Speed Gamers Raise Over $18,000 for Pokemon Marathon

The Speed Gamers held a monumental Pokemon marathon – they earned over $18,000 for Ally’s House, which will benefit Oklahoman cancer patients and their families. The group also reached their goal of obtaining all 493 Pokemon in 72 hours; the last Pokemon they needed was Meganium, which they obtained by evolving Bayleef just before the 72 hours was up. Congratulations to the Speed Gamers and of course all of the Pokemon fans who donated to Ally’s House! Donations can still be made up until Christmas Eve. As for their next Pokemon marathon, the group has stated that they will not hold another one until the fifth generation is released.
