‘Call of Legends’ Booster Packs, Theme Decks, Blister Pack Images

Booster pack and theme deck images for Call of Legends have just been released, as you can see below. Click the thumbnails to enlarge them. As predicted, in the same vein as EX Power Keepers, this set will feature reprinted cards with new artwork: the Hitmonlee card below (an uncommon in the set) is from Undaunted but has new artwork. This set will not be a part of the HeartGold & SoulSilver series and is instead a transitional set between HGSS and the first Black and White set. Call of Legends will hit store shelves February 9th.

The theme decks, named Retort and Recon, feature Lucario and Tangrowth, both from Lost Link. The three-pack blister is shown to feature Hitmonlee but the card is just a placeholder for the real promo. We probably won’t find out what the promo is until the blisters are in stores.

Other cards confirmed for English release are Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Deoxys, Dialga, and Palkia, all of which are mentioned in the press release below. These Legendary Pokemon are the Shiny Pokemon promos that were released in Japan a few months ago (each of which are worth between $200 and $500 in Japan). Call of Legends is thus a compilation of leftover cards from Lost Link (like Lucario, Tangrowth, Lost World), promo cards (the Legendary Pokemon), and reprints (like Hitmonlee).
