Some ‘Legendary’ Pokemon Renamed to ‘Mythical’ Pokemon?

Update (3:30 PM) – It has been pointed out that Reshiram and Zekrom are still called “Legendary Pokemon” on the official Black and White site, which means that only some Pokemon have been regulated “Mythical Pokemon.”

It seems that the longstanding term “Legendary Pokemon” has now been renamed to “Mythical Pokemon” for some Legendary Pokemon: Celebi, Arceus, and Victini are now all being called “Mythical Pokemon” on the official Pokemon websites. According to a 1Up interview with Nintendo, Black and White will be the first games where the translations are handled in-house by TPCi, so perhaps this may explain the new branding. The Zoroark: Master of Illusions movie still termed Entei, Suicune, and Raikou “Legendary Pokemon” even though it was dubbed by TPCi, so perhaps the new term only applies to the video games (or maybe the movie was dubbed before the new term was put in place).
