July ‘Red Collection’ and Victini Movies Promo Releases

As reported previously, when you purchase four booster packs of Red Collection in stores, you will receive one of four promo cards, which we now know are Beartic, Zebstraika, Gothitelle, and Reuniclus. The promotion will begin July 15th, Red Collection‘s release date. Bangiras’ translations are below.

Different stores will only offer one particular card, though. Beartic will only be available at convenience stores like Circle K, 3F, Family Mart, Ministop, and Lawson (because they have freezers?), Zebstrika will only be available at 7-Eleven, Gothitelle will be everywhere from Pokemon Centers to Toys R Us stores to other random sites, and Reuniclus will also be available everywhere from Vics Cameras to Yodobashi Camera to Ishimaru stores (technology-related?).

Zebstrika – Lightning – HP90

Four blister packs featuring Klinklang or Golurk will be released this July in celebration of the two Victini movies. They will feature either Klinklang or Golurk as holographic promos, either a Black Collection or White Collection booster pack, a Red Collection booster pack, and one of two deck boxes. The Klinklang packages will come with a deck box featuring Bisharp on one side and Reshiram, Zekrom, and Victini on the other side while the the Golurk packages will feature a deck box with Reshiram and Zekrom on one side and Victini on the other side.

The Klinklang packs will only be available at 7-Eleven stores and Pokemon Centers when Red Collection is released on July 15th. The Golurk packs will be available a day later at movie theaters and Pokemon Centers – the day the two Victini movies are released.

As also reported previously, two “Special Trunk Sets” will be released on July 15th featuring holographic reprints of either Reshiram or Zekrom from the first Black & White set, but with new artwork. As you can see below, the artwork is from the English booster packs of Black & White! Each trunk, which acts as a card storage unit, will also come with six booster packs: two from Black Collection, two from White Collection, and two from Red Collection. The trunks will retail for 1,500 yen, or about $17.50.
