‘Emerging Powers’ to Feature a New Reverse Holofoil Style

Competitors at Worlds who made 32nd to 17th place have received Emerging Powers booster packs as prizes. Thanks to Jason and Super Char, we now have photos of some reverse holos in the set! Pokemon now feature their specific Energy symbol in the background of the reverse holofoil while Trainers have Poke Balls. Click the thumbnails below for larger images. I will be going back to Worlds tomorrow with a scanner and will have all of the scans up by the afternoon (if I can find a stable Internet connection).

Since newer sets are sorted by Energy type and Pokedex number, it’s hard to determine what the holos are. Since Jason bought two booster boxes, however, we know all of the cards! The holos are Virizion, Beartic, Thundurus, Gothitelle, Excadrill, Terrakion, Zoroark, Cobalion, Braviary, and Tornadus. The full art cards are Thundurus and Tornadus and you can find 2-3 in each box. A photo of them is also below.
