Prime Challenge Boxes

Two new “Prime Challenge” boxes will be released on November 15th containing cards from older sets. For both the casual fan and competitive Pokemon TCG player, the appeal of the boxes will be the reprinted Pokemon Primes, especially the Yanmega! Oddly, the evolutionary chains you can get feature Stage 2 Pokemon that are all holographic in their respective sets, spare Metagross, which is a regular rare in HS – Undaunted. So could Metagross come as a holo reprint in its box, or could it be the case that all of the Stage 2’s will be non-holo instead? Click the thumbnails below for larger images.

‘HS – Triumphant’ Prime Challenge Box

• 1 Prime card: Yanmega Prime or Machamp Prime
• 1 complete evolution chain: Swinub, Piloswine, and Mamoswine or Nidoran, Nidorino and Nidoking
• 1 HS – Triumphant theme deck with a bonus booster pack: Verdant Frost or Royal Guard
• 2 HeartGold & SoulSiver series booster packs
• A special code card for PTCGO that unlocks the theme deck, the Pokemon Prime, and all three Pokemon in the evolution chain, as well as three booster packs

‘HS – Undaunted’ Prime Challenge Box

• 1 Prime card: Espeon Prime or Umbreon Prime
• 1 complete evolution chain: Oddish, Gloom, and Bellossom or Beldum, Metang and Metagross
• 1 HS – Undaunted theme deck with a bonus booster pack: Daybreak or Nightfall
• 2 HeartGold & SoulSiver series booster packs
• A special code card for PTCGO that unlocks the theme deck, the Pokemon Prime, and all three Pokemon in the evolution chain, as well as three booster packs
