2014’s Standard Format: Boundaries Crossed-on

Pokemon.com has announced that next season’s “Standard format” will be Boundaries Crossed and on. BW55 and higher will also be legal. As covered in previous news stories, an “Expanded format” will also go into effect on day two of select tournaments and will consist of Black and White and on and BW01 and up, allowing players to use older cards. The new formats start on September 3rd.
