Primal Kyogre-EX, Primal Groudon-EX, XY Promos in ‘Hoenn Collection Box’

And now for a second exclusive preview!

You will receive a jumbo version of Primal Clash‘s Primal Kyogre-EX (#55/160) or Primal Groudon-EX (#86/160) in the “Hoenn Collection Box,” a product we first announced in September. Holo promos of Treecko (XY36), Torchic (XY37), and Mudkip (XY38) are also included, as is a metal pin featuring the three. It also comes with two Phantom Forces booster packs and one Furious Fists pack. The entire products costs $15.99.

This is the first time we’re seeing Primal Groudon-EX in full and Primal Kyogre-EX at all. Both Pokemon feature a new type of “ability” we do not know the name of yet. Primal Kyogre-EX’s “ability” is “α Growth” which reads, “When you attach an Energy card from your hand to this Pokemon (except with an attack, Ability, or Trainer card), you may attach 2 Energy cards.” Groudon’s, as posted before, is “Ω Barrier.” It reads, “Whenever your opponent plays a Trainer card (excluding Pokemon Tools and Stadium cards), prevent all effect of that card done to this Pokemon.” Both Pokemon feature the Mega Evolution rule, though it’s branded as the “Primal Reversion rule.”
