Team Aqua’s Kyogre-EX, Team Magma’s Groudon-EX from ‘Double Crisis’
We have received photos of CoroCoro magazine, revealing Team Aqua’s Kyogre-EX and Team Magma’s Groudon-EX from Double Crisis!
Both Pokemon require four Team Aqua or Team Magma Pokemon in play in order to use them, so this means the rest of the Pokemon will be owner’s Pokemon as well. Furthermore, since the star Pokemon-EX of this set are restricted by the Aqua and Magma limitation, it may be an indicator that Double Crisis is an inclusive, “gimmicky” set intended more for collectors than players. The card art further supports this, with Kyogre and Groudon sharing the spotlight with several other Aqua and Magma Pokemon, Matt, Shelly, Tabitha, and Courtney, plus featuring a different art style than usual.
Thanks goes to Franco T. for the translations below! The 34 card mini-set will be released in Japan on January 30th and in America on March 25th, and we’ll of course have scans and translations before then! Stay tuned!
