Charizard and Weavile Confirmed as Playable Characters in ‘Pokken Tournament’

Charizard and Weavile have been revealed as playable fighters in Pokken Tournament! Charizard’s Burst Attack will allow it to Mega Evolve into Mega Charizard X. The two Pokemon will be joining Pikachu, Machamp, Gengar, Suicune, Blaziken, Gardevoir, and Lucario.

Jirachi and Whimsicott have also been confirmed as Support Pokemon, joining Lapras, Eevee, Snivy, Emolga, Fennekin, and Frogadier.

The game now has an official release date in Japanese arcades: July 16th.
