Last Week’s Worlds Info Confirmed

Last week we reported Worlds will likely take place at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis Hotel from Friday, August 19th to Sunday, August 21st. Pokemon.com has just confirmed this location along with the dates.

The dates have been selected for the 2016 Pokémon World Championships! Players from all over the globe will head to the city by the bay on August 19–21, 2016, to try to become the next Pokémon TCG or Video Game World Champion! The three-day event will take place at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis Hotel. The Pokémon World Championships is an invitation-only competition for players who have qualified throughout the 2016 Championship Series season, but there will be fun side events and other opportunities for everyone who attends!
