Celebi’s Mythical Pokemon Collection Available Today, Release Dates Changed?
The release date for Celebi’s Mythical Pokemon Collection has officially moved up to March 1st in the United States (not Europe). You can find it at Gamestop stores and possibly other retailers right now.
Each Mythical Pokemon Collection comes with a promo, a pin, and two Generations booster packs.

It is unknown if the release dates of the other Mythical Pokemon Collection will also be adjusted or if we were going off the wrong set of dates (I believe I originally went off Europe’s release dates, but this seems to be the one time where Europe and the U.S. won’t be synced).
Since the associated Mythical Pokemon will be distributed on the 1st of each month in the United States, it would make sense to release each collection on the 1st as well. Here’s the release schedule for the Pokemon’s game distributions in the U.S., as I posted a while ago:
- Mew: February 1 – 24, 2016 at GameStop
- Celebi: March 1 – 24, 2016 at Nintendo Network
- Jirachi: April 1 – 24, 2016 at Nintendo Network
- Darkrai: May 1 – 24, 2016 at GameStop
- Manaphy: June 1 – 24, 2016 at Nintendo Network
- Shaymin: July 1 – 24, 2016 at Nintendo Network
- Arceus: August 1 – 24, 2016 at GameStop
- Victini: September 1 – 24, 2016 at Nintendo Network
- Keldeo: October 1 – 24, 2016 at Nintendo Network
- Genesect: November 1 – 24, 2016 at GameStop
- Meloetta: December 1 – 24, 2016 at Nintendo Network
And here’s the release dates for the Mythical Pokemon Collections I also posted forever ago, which may only apply to Europe:
What we’ve now learned is that the Mew Box is only the first of eleven boxes that will be released next year. Yes, eleven! Each month, a new box will be released featuring a different Mythical Pokemon. February 22nd will see the release of the Mew Box, March 16th is Celebi, April 13th is Jirachi, May 18th is Darkrai, June 15th is Manaphy, July 13th is Shaymin, August 17th is Arceus, September 14th is Victini, October 12th is Keldeo, November 16th is Genesect, and December 7th (over a year from now!) is Meloetta. Each box will cost $12.99.
If Jirachi is released on the 1st next month, we’ll know America’s Mythical Pokemon Collections are on a “1st” schedule whereas Europe is on a “middle of the month-ish” schedule.
