Five New EX Boxes in the Fall!

A slew of Pokemon-EX boxes will be released this fall, seemingly to end Pokemon’s 20th anniversary with a bang! The Pokemon featured will be Charizard-EX, Gengar-EX, Kangaskhan-EX, Dragonite-EX, and Mewtwo-EX. No other specific details were revealed.

Since Dragonite-EX is in Evolutions, the one included in these boxes should be an alternate art reprint from the set. Kangaskhan was originally from Jungle, so an EX version of it likely won’t be in Evolutions — this means it might be an alternate art reprint of the Kangaskhan-EX from Flashfire. Therefore, these Pokemon-EX may be a mix of reprints from Evolutions and older Pokemon-EX.

Since these products are EX boxes and not EX tins, they will likely come with a figurine of the Pokemon, the Pokemon-EX promo, and four booster packs. In Europe, the figurine would be replaced by a jumbo card. Assuming history repeats itself, of course.
