‘Alola Collection’ Product Images, Reveals Pokedex Entries

As posted a while ago, November 18th will see the release of two “Alola Collections” featuring Solgaleo or Lunala. These will be the first English Pokemon TCG Sun and Moon products.

Each collection will come with a jumbo Pokemon-GX, a figure, a collector’s pin, five booster packs, a PTCGO code card, and foil promo cards of Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio. The promo cards are a mix of actual Sun and Moon promos (SM01-SM03) as well as reprinted cards from Sun & Moon (9/149, 24/149, 39/149) that have a holo treatment they won’t get in the actual sets.

The promo images above also reveal the official Pokedex entries for Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio:

  • Rowlet, #722: This wary Pokemon uses photosynthesis to store up energy during the day, while becoming active at night.
  • Litten, #725: While grooming itself, it builds up fur inside its stomach. It sets the fur alight and spews fiery attacks, which change based on how it coughs.
  • Popplio, #728: This Pokemon snorts body fluids from its nose, blowing balloons to smash into its foes. It’s famous for being a hard worker.

The attack costs of Solgaleo-GX and Lunala-GX’s GX attacks have still not been revealed.
