First ‘Pokemon GO’ In-Game Event for Halloween!

Trick-or-treat! Beginning Wednesday, October 26th, through Tuesday, November 1st, Pokemon GO Trainers will have the chance to celebrate Halloween: Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Zubat, Golbat, Drowzee, and Hypno will have increased encounter rates in the game!

And what’s Halloween without candy? During this period, every Pokemon caught will earn Trainers six Candies – twice the normal amount. The professor will also give Trainers two Candies (instead of one) for every Pokemon transferred to him. That’s not all, as Buddy Pokemon will award four candies instead of the usual one.
