Japan’s SM3 Sets for the 20th Movie Feature Ho-Oh and Necrozma!
They just won’t stop releasing new sets!
We now have exclusive news — Japan’s SM3 sets will be named Did You See the Fighting Rainbow?, featuring Ho-Oh-GX, and Light-Consuming Darkness, featuring Necrozma-GX. They’ll be released on June 16th, a full month before the 20th Pokemon movie debuts in theaters on July 15th.
Yes, the name of Ho-Oh’s set is actually a question. The title is making reference to Ash seeing Ho-Oh in the first episode of the anime, as the 20th Pokemon movie (of which we still know very little about) is supposed to feature Ash and Ho-Oh.
Each SM3 set will feature 51 cards, excluding the 500 secret rares Pokemon Card Laboratory will probably stuff into each set. The cards will be released in America this August.
Whether or not this news means the 20th movie will feature Necrozma remains to be seen. Thanks goes to Bangiras for the translations!
