‘Legendary Battle Decks’ Featuring Ho-Oh and Lugia in May!

Two new “Legendary Battle Decks” featuring Ho-Oh-EX or Lugia-EX will be released on May 5th. Each 60-card deck will cost $19.99 and will come with a metallic coin, a deck box, damage counters, and player guides. We do not yet know which Lugia-EX and Ho-Oh-EX the decks will feature.

TPCi is basically copying and pasting their marketing strategy for Pokemon GO, but with Gen II Pokemon. Exactly like the Legendary Battle Decks featuring Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres-EX, these decks are meant to hype on the upcoming release of Gold & Silver Pokemon in Pokemon GO. We’re also getting blisters featuring pins of either Entei, Suicune, and Raikou, as with the Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres pin blisters that were in stores a few months after Pokemon GO was released.

In the coming months we’ll also be getting a Kingdra-EX Box, a Scizor-EX Box, and a Legacy Pin Collection featuring Gen II Pokemon that evolve from Gen I Pokemon.
