Summer 2017 ‘Island Guardians’ Tins!
Summer’s Pokemon TCG tins will only come in two varieties this time — they’ll feature either Tapu Koko-GX or Tapu Bulu-GX! As usual each tin will also come with four booster packs and a code card to unlock a playable deck in PTCGO. Both tins will be released on May 19th.
Tapu Koko-GX originates from Japan’s upcoming SM2 set while Tapu Bulu-GX comes from the set’s accompanying theme deck.
Now you just know that TPCi decided not to make Tapu Lele-GX available in a tin because it would devalue the Guardians Rising set. Especially since they decided to release only two tins instead of the regular three. Their strategy is so transparent! :p
