Palossand-GX, Latias, Hydreigon, Regigigas, Hiker Promos!
The official Japanese PTCG website has revealed several new promos!
Palossand-GX, Latias, and Alolan Raichu will be three of the twelve promos players receive in a promo booster pack at Japan’s Gym tournaments in August. Hiker was also revealed as the fourth promo on a Gym tournament flyer.
Palossand-GX – Fighting – HP210
Stage 1 – Evolves from Sandygast[F][C][C] Eerie Light: 60 damage. Your opponent’s Active Pokemon is now Confused.
[F][F][C][C] Life Absorb: 100 damage. Heal 20 damage from this Pokemon.
[F][F][C][C] Sand Fear-GX: 60x damage. Look at the top 13 cards of your opponent’s deck. Discard as many Pokemon you find there as you like. This attack does 60 damage for each Pokemon you discarded. Your opponent shuffles the remaining cards back into their deck. (You can only use 1 GX attack per game.)
When 1 of your Pokemon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.
Weakness: Grass (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 4
Latias – Psychic – HP100
Basic PokemonAbility: Flight Support
All of your Latios have 0 Retreat.[P] Mist Gale: 30 damage. Heal 30 damage from each of your Benched Pokemon.
Weakness: Psychic (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1
Look at the top 5 cards of either your deck or your opponent’s deck and choose 1 card. Shuffle the remaining cards back into that deck, then put the card you chose on top of that deck.
You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn (before your attack).
Alolan Raichu was already released in America back in April in the Sun & Moon Trainer Kit.
In America, Latias will be included in our Shining Legends Collector’s Chest Tin in November. Since there’s a Latios in that tin, it’ll probably be one of the twelve Gym promos as well. Potentially Pikachu as well.
Tonight the booster box promos for SM4, Hydreigon and Regigigas, were accidentally revealed on the official site. Their news story was marked as August 10th and was removed within 20 minutes. So August 10th is probably when the set will officially be revealed along with some of its Pokemon-GX!
Hydreigon and Regigigas will also be in SM4 with alternate artwork.
Hydreigon – Darkness – HP160
Stage 2 – Evolves from ZweilousAbility: Screen Out
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may choose 3 of your Benched Pokemon. Discard your other Benched Pokemon and all cards attached to them.[D][D][C] Dark Destroy: 120 damage. You may discard an Energy attached to this Pokemon. If you do, discard an Energy attached to your opponent’s Active Pokemon.
Weakness: Fighting (x2)
Resistance: Psychic (-20)
Retreat: 2
Regigigas – Colorless – HP180
Basic PokemonAbility: Ancient Seal
If you don’t have Regirock, Registeel, and Regice in play, this Pokemon can’t attack.[C][C][C][C][C] Giant Stomp: 160 damage. Discard a Stadium card in play.
Weakness: Fighting (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 4
