‘Forbidden Light,’ English SM6 Set in May!

We can exclusively reveal the name of the English SM6 set will be Forbidden Light, the same name as Japan’s SM6 set!

It’ll hit store shelves in America and Europe on May 4th. The Japanese version of the set will release on March 2nd.

We can exclusively reveal the English set will feature Ultra Necrozma-GX, Lucario-GX, Greninja-GX, Zygarde-GX, Yveltal-GX, Naganadel-GX, Volcanion, and Arceus Prism Star. There will be over 130 cards, including 5 Prism Star cards, 8 Pokemon-GX, 6 Ultra Beasts, 15 Trainers, and two Special Energy. The English set will thus be a combination of cards from Japan’s SM5+ Ultra Force set and SM6 Forbidden Light.

As predicted, it appears Japan’s SM6 set will have a Kalos theme (e.g. Greninja, Zygarde, Yveltal, Volcanion), just like the Sinnoh-themed SM5 Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon set before it. This probably means each set in this new block will be themed after a region!

You know how Metal-types are a thing now because of SM5/SM5+? Watch Team Flare come in SM6/SM6+ and melt them with powerful Fire-types. Then Team Aqua and Team Magma will come in SM7/SM7+ to put out the fires with Water and Ground-types. :x
