Two Mini-Sets Releasing in Japan this Summer, One’s Name Kept Secret!
As posted earlier this week, Japan will see two mini-sets this summer — an untitled SM7a set, releasing July 6th, and Fairy Rise, releasing August 3rd.
The name for the first set has been concealed on purpose. This possibly means it’ll feature Zeraora, the only Pokemon currently unrevealed. This may especially be the case since Zeraora will likely be featured with Lugia in the 21st movie, which hits Japanese theaters in July. The set would thus be promoting the movie, like usual.
The dummy booster pack artwork shows SM7a will also have Genesect, Virizion, and Magcargo cards (for Ludicargo? :p). As posted the other day, there will be 60+ cards in the set.
Fairy Rise‘s temporary booster pack image reveals it’ll feature Xerneas, Mimikyu, and a new Alolan Ninetales. The set will contain 50+ cards and primarily focus on Fairy, Grass, and Psychic-type Pokemon.
