‘Night Unison’ Rumored To Feature GX Similar to Shaymin-EX!

Oh boy, here we go…

As with the past few Japanese sets, early “hype” information has been sent out to hobby stores in Japan to encourage them to preorder sets from Pokemon.

According to a reliable source who’s contacted us, January’s Night Unison will feature a new Dedenne-GX. Its Ability will apparently be, “When you play this Pokemon from your hand, you may discard your hand. If you do, draw 6 cards.” (Shaymin-EX‘s Ability was originally, “When you play this Pokemon from your hand onto your Bench, you may draw cards until you have 6 cards in your hand.”)

However, we have not seen the information firsthand, so we cannot yet confirm its validity.

We’ve also heard from a separate source that the new Pheromosa & Buzzwole-GX from February’s Full Metal Wall will feature an attack that can take up to six Prize cards from Knocking Out a single Pokemon. Presumably this would be from Knocking Out a Tag Team GX, which already awards three Prizes, plus some additional effects to make it six. Their Tag Team will apparently have a Jet Punch attack like the original Buzzwole-GX as well.

Again, we have not yet seen a photo of the above information like with previous sets, so we cannot confirm its validity at this time. I’ll of course follow up with an update once we know for sure!
