Clearer Images of ‘Tag Team Tins,’ Reveals Promo Numbers!

We’ve received clearer images of spring’s “Tag Team Tins!”

Celebi & Venusaur-GX is SM167, Pikachu & Zekrom-GX is SM168, and Eevee & Snorlax-GX is SM169.

The tins will feature a new physical design and hand-drawn artwork on their covers! I believe this is the first time tins have featured special artwork like this. I wonder if this will be the trend from now on?

The special art versions of Celebi & Venusaur-GX and Pikachu & Zekrom-GX were originally in Japan’s Tag Team set but were removed from our English Team Up set in favor of these tins. Eevee & Snorlax-GX was originally a special art promo fans received when purchasing a booster box of Tag Team.

Each tin will feature four booster packs, a “special art” GX promo card, a metal TAG TEAM GX marker, and a PTCGO code card that unlocks a deck.

They will release in America and Europe on March 29th. Each will retail for $24.99.
