‘Detective Pikachu’ Mini-Set Leaks, Translations!

Much of the Detective Pikachu mini-set has leaked ahead of its March 29th release date! Our friends at Pokecardex, a French fansite, have posted photos they were able to obtain from an anonymous source. The cards are in French.

We are unsure how the cards made their way into someone’s hands, but they leaked somewhere in the United States. This wouldn’t be the first time foreign-language cards have leaked from Pokemon’s printing factories here (which is how I assume it happened). Pokemon prints some of its foreign language cards in America, then ships them out.

To recap: the Detective Pikachu mini-set will feature 26 cards in America and 24 cards in Japan (before secret rares). Each booster pack will contain four cards. The entire set will be holographic. The booster packs are only available through Detective Pikachu promo products, which will release starting April 5th in the U.S. and March 29th in some countries.

Although Pokemon indicated the set will feature 26 cards, the card numbers show the set has 18 cards. Apparently there will be eight more secret rare cards?
