Moltres & Zapdos & Articuno-GX from ‘Sky Legend’ Revealed!
As expected, CoroCoro magazine has revealed “Moltres & Zapdos & Articuno-GX” from SM10b Sky Legend! The set will release in Japan on April 25th.
Moltres & Zapdos & Articuno-GX – Colorless – HP300
Basic Pokemon (TAG TEAM)[R][W][L][C] Trinity Burn: 210 damage.
[C]+ Sky Legend GX: Shuffle this Pokemon and all cards attached to it into your deck. If this Pokemon has at least 1 extra [R] Energy, 1 extra [W] Energy, and 1 extra [L] Energy attached to it (in addition to this attack’s cost), this attack does 110 damage to 3 of your opponent’s Pokemon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)
When your TAG TEAM is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards.
Weakness: Lightning (x2)
Resistance: Fighting (-20)
Retreat: 3
This is the first Tag Team card to feature more than two Pokemon. This card exists to pay homage to the jumbo Articuno, Moltres, & Zapdos promo from the ’90s, which was the first Pokemon card to feature multiple Pokemon. That card was also illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita.
This card also has the the highest HP in the TCG, tying with Magikarp and Wailord-GX (excluding illegal “joke” cards that have more).
We should get a clearer image of the card this week or next week when the official Japanese Pokemon card website updates.
Thanks goes to Tunu for the image and translation!
