First ‘Sword & Shield’ Supporter Cards Revealed!
The first two Supporter cards from Sword & Shield have just been revealed!
The Supporter cards will be featured in five “Starter Set V Decks” that are releasing in Japan on November 29th, and will likely be incorporated into our first Sword & Shield set next February. Thanks goes to Bangiras for translations!
Professor’s Research – Trainer
Supporter (Professor Magnolia)Discard your hand. Then, draw 7 cards.
You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn (before your attack).
Marnie – Trainer
SupporterBoth players shuffle their hands without looking and put them at the bottom of their decks. Then, you draw 5 cards and your opponent draws 4 cards.

Professor Magnolia isn’t in the name of her Supporter card. Instead, her name is on the right under the word “Supporter.” This might mean that we’re getting multiple “Professor’s Research” cards that each feature their own Professor, or that they’re introducing a new mechanic where you can have a certain amount of cards with terms like “Professor Magnolia” on it. We’ll find out soon!
