Next Pokemon Anime Series Titled ‘Pocket Monsters,’ Features All Regions

The official Japanese Pokemon YouTube has announced a new Pokemon anime series titled simply Pocket Monsters. This is the same title as the anime when it first debuted in 1997.

According to a press release, the new series will feature all regions from the main video games — from Kanto to Galar.

The episode of Sun & Moon airing September 29th will reveal more information about the new series.

What approach do you think Pokemon will take with this? Will they ditch Ash? Will he still be featured, but travel around the Pokemon world? The anime has been experimenting with everything the past couple of years, including the films, so who knows what they’ll do?!
