‘TAG TEAM Powers Collection’ Reveals Last 7 Sun & Moon Promos, Who Made the Cut?!
We’re the first to show you the product contents of the highly-anticipated “TAG TEAM Powers Collection,” which we first announced a while ago! Update (Tuesday): Added an image of the Deoxys & Espeon version of the product!
As posted before, it will release on March 27th and cost $49.99. This is the last known Sun & Moon product.
Today we’re learning it will feature Japan’s special art versions of Espeon and Deoxys-GX, Umbreon and Darkrai-GX, and the full art promo of Eevee-GX. The three cards originate from TAG All Stars, released in Japan on October 4th. All three of our promos will come with etched texturing.
The box will additionally include three unreleased Gym promos: Carracosta-GX, Leafeon, and Glaceon.
It seems this box will be attempting to grab as many unreleased promos from the Sun & Moon era as possible! Normally, Carracosta-GX would have received its own box. But since the Sun & Moon era is long over, they don’t want to keep dwelling on it with more releases.
Leafeon – Grass – HP110
Stage 1 – Evolves from Eevee[G] Rich Aroma: Heal all damage from 1 of your Pokemon.
[G][C][C] Leaf Blade: 80+ damage. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 40 more damage.

Resistance: none

Glaceon – Water – HP110
Stage 1 – Evolves from Eevee[W] Snow Cloak: 30 damage. Flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to this Pokemon during your opponent’s next turn.
[W][W][C] Hypno Blizzard: 90 damage. Your opponent’s Active Pokemon is now Asleep. This attack does 20 damage to each of your opponent’s Benched Pokemon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.)

Carracosta-GX – Fighting – HP250
Stage 2 – Evolves from TirtougaAbility: High Density Armor
If this Pokemon is at max HP, any damage done to this Pokemon by your opponent’s attacks is reduced by 90 (after applying Weakness and Resistance).[F][C][C][C] Ground Break: 160 damage. The Defending Pokemon can’t retreat during your opponent’s next turn.
[C] Stone Age GX: Search your discard pile for any number of cards that evolve from Unidentified Fossil and play them onto your Bench. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)
When your Pokemon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize Cards.

The box will also include the CoroCoro Ichiban Regigigas promo, which was released back in November. Because why not?

Basic Pokemon[C][C][C] Hammer In: 60 damage.
[W][F][M][C][C] Regi Bomber: 180 damage. Discard the top card of your opponent’s deck.

The TAG TEAM Powers Collection will come in two editions featuring either a jumbo card of Espeon & Deoxys-GX or Umbreon & Darkrai-GX. If you want both jumbo cards, you will have to purchase both boxes.
Each box’s regular contents will include eight booster packs and a PTCGO code card.
Since this is the last known Sun & Moon product, the following cards from TAG All Stars may never see the light of day outside Japan. However, we could get them in our 2020 holiday set. There are so many “chase” cards here; they would be perfect for that kind of set.
