‘Rebel Clash’ Product Images Revealed, Final Nail in Worldwide Theory’s Cofagrigus
Pokemon has officially revealed Rebel Clash and all its product images! This is following last night’s reveal of Japan’s Rebellion Clash set, of which part of our English set will come from.
The theme decks will feature Zacian and Zamazenta. We haven’t seem them in Japan yet, so they presumably come from their Rebellion Clash set.

Other Rebel Clash products include its Elite Trainer Box featuring Copperajah V and the typical mini portfolio that comes with a pack.
The set and its above products will release on May 1st.
As expected, Rebel Clash will be a combination of Japan’s VMAX Rising set and its upcoming Rebellion Clash set. The product description for our English set is as follows:
Rock out with new Pokémon! Crank it loud and blast the beat—you’ll find rebellion, chaos, and punk attitude galore in the Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield—Rebel Clash expansion, loaded with Pokémon V including Toxtricity V, Dubwool V, Boltund V, Sandaconda V, and more! You’ll also find a handful of Pokémon VMAX, including the final Evolutions of all three first partners, plus Copperajah VMAX and Dragapult VMAX. Take to the stage and the streets with the Sword & Shield—Rebel Clash expansion!
The set will include over 190 cards, dozens of recently discovered Pokémon form the Galar region, 15 powerful Pokémon V and 7 enormous Pokémon VMAX, more than 15 Trainer cards, and 4 new Special Energy cards.
The set description indicates it will not include any cards beyond Japan’s Rebellion Clash set, such as from Eruption Walker. This means the slim chance that worldwide releases could have started with our second Sword & Shield set is now dead, putting the final nail in that theory’s coffin. While TPCi could have taken the opportunity to sync our set releases with Japan starting with our first or even second SWSH set, it’s now clear they can’t or don’t want to. But at least our set releases are closer now than ever before!
