Unreleased Flareon, Eevee, Adversity Gloves Promos from Postponed Gym Tournaments!
Due to coronavirus concerns, Pokemon cancelled several tournaments in Japan through March. This included the next round of Pokemon Gym tournaments, which would have been held February 29th through March 19th. The tournaments have been taking place for years and award participants a booster pack containing one of several promo cards.
Nevertheless the promos for the postponed Gym tournaments have leaked to the net. They include a new Eevee, Flareon, a new Tool card called Adversity Gloves, the Polteageist V we’re receiving in America on May 1st, and alternate art promos of cards releasing in Rebellious Clash.
It’s unknown when Japan will hold the next round of Gym tournaments. They stated they will consider restarting them on March 20th, but there is no official news yet. Pokemon seems to have sent the promos out to stores as scheduled, so perhaps they will hold them soon.
Thanks goes to Bangiras for the translations!
