My Film “The Star of Eros” Now Streaming!
Hi fam, I don’t usually make personal posts on PokeBeach anymore (at least since I was in college), but I thought this would be a good time for an exception!
My short film “The Star of Eros” has been selected to stream on the prestigious Omeleto YouTube channel, which is one of the largest exhibitors of critically-acclaimed films! The film played at top festivals around the world last year, won audience awards, I was flown out to China to screen it, and I was even invited to a major Hollywood studio to discuss turning it into a feature! I spent several years working on this little film, which is usually the case with film projects when you don’t have a big budget.
If you like family adventure films with anime robots and questions about mortality, I’d be so thrilled if you check the film out and give it a like! And the film of course comes from the mind of a Pokemon fan, as you will see at one or two points.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about filmmaking too, or any questions or comments about the film itself! When I started PokeBeach 17 years ago, I didn’t know I wanted to be a filmmaker. But I know over the years I’ve mentioned it, so I figured I’d give an update to those of you who used to follow my little life notes. Thank you!
