‘Pokemon UNITE,’ Strategic Team-Battle Game, Announced

Today’s Pokemon Presents announced Pokemon UNITE, an upcoming mobile and Nintendo Switch game.

Players will work as a team to face off against other teams in five-on-five team battles. During these battles, players will cooperate with teammates to catch wild Pokemon, level up, and evolve their own Pokemon. They will need to defeat their opponents’ Pokemon while trying to earn more points than the opposing team within the allotted time.

The game is being developed in partnership with Tencent Games’ TiMi Studios. It will be free-to-start to play. It will also be cross-compatible between the Switch and the mobile platforms.
